  We have just returned from our first trip to Prague where we stayed at the Hotel Hoffmeister. Our suite was excellent, the staff were very friendly and accommodating (particularly Ondrej in Reception). We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel especially as we found the location to be ideal for us ie 3 mins to Prague Castle, 7 mins to the bridge.

Unfortunately (you may have heard), my friend’s father died while we were there and they had to get flights home yesterday instead of tomorrow.   We arrived home last night having spent the last week in Praha at the Hotel U Prince. I want to thank you for organising the accommodation and transfers for us. The car was there to collect us from the airport when we arrived on Mon 26th Sept and arrived at the hotel at 5.00 am on Sat 1st Oct as organised for the return transfer. The U Prince was an excellent choice. The staff were very helpful (even offering us breakfast at 4.45 am on the day of our departure!), the hotel was well appointed, the breakfasts were very good, there were a number of areas for dining (including a roof terrace with views over Praha) and the central location (on the Old Town Square) was very convenient. We were very satisfied with everything at the Hotel U Price and we would stay there again. We would highly recommend the Hotel U Prince to other travellers and will be passing on your details and the details of the Hotel to any of our friends who intend to visit Praha.

  TI stayed at the Hotel U Prince from 20th-22nd Dec 2003. We stayed in a Junior Suite. The hotel was fabulous. The room was a very good size and the bed was up some stairs from the rest of the room, which was very impressive. The hotel's restaurants were very good (choice of seafood and more local meat dishes), with a live jazz band playing every night and a very impressive cocktail bar. The rooftop terrace bar has wonderful views of Prague. Literally 20 metres away from the front door of the hotel is the Astronomical Clock and winter markets in the Old Town Sq. Charles Bridge is a five minute walk. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at throughout Europe.

  We have just got back from our third visit to Prague. So this is just to thank you, so much for the excellent service that you have provided yet again. The transfer driver was there to welcome us and as usual, polite, efficient and helpful, with our luggage. The Hotel Certovka was perfect,(especially the wonderful pancakes for breakfast). We could virtually shake hands with the people crossing over Charles Bridge. Kampa Island was so peaceful also the Kampa Museum (Yoko Ono exhibition). The Ballet at the National Theatre was exquisite and late evenings spent in U Prince Old Town finished off our hectic days of sight-seeing. The Magic of Prague really happened for us when it snowed for three evenings out of the four, that we were staying in your beautiful city. As you know we have already booked up through you to stay in the Hotel Certovka over the Christmas period 2004 with our family.We will contact you nearer the time for tips on where we can book in for our Christmas Lunch as unfortunately the Certovka only cater for breakfast. I only wish that we could find a Tomas in other Cities when we organise our trips to other parts of Europe.

But we also thought that Biskupsky Dum was a wonderful little hotel with friendly and helpful people. We're sorry that we couldn't use the driver you arranged for us when we arrived in Prague. Our flight from the U.S. was delayed in leaving and by the time we arrived in Copenhagen, the Prague flight had left, so they had to re-book us. We were able, however, to use the transfer to the airport at the end of our visit. We will certainly recommend you to anyone who is going to Prague. You were efficient and courteous and helped to make our trip a memorable one.

I am writing, on behalf of my wife and travelling companions, to tell you that we enjoyed the holiday immensely and that we were particularly impressed by the efficacy of the arrangements that your company made for us. We would particularly like to thank you for arranging the guided tour on 3/10/04. The guide was a delightful young lady whose obvious interest in and enthusiasm for the history of your city made the 4 hour walk pass all too quickly. The only negative comment I would make was that the driver of the transfer car hadn’t been informed that our transfers were free resulting in a very minor embarrassment for both of us at the hotel and the airport. This however was a very minor blip in an otherwise extremely enjoyable 5 days and we will certainly be recommending your company to our friends.

The location was so central and the staff were so nice and friendly. Our room, though not very large, was really nice. We were on the third floor and had sloping ceilings and wooden beams. The furniture was in keeping with this and was lovely. The bathroom was big, bright and airy. One more thing - the hotel has two restaurants. An outdoor one serving pastas and pizzas and a more formal one downstairs. The downstairs restaurant is an award winning restaurant, famed for steaks. I would recommend you try this eatery - we did and it merited a second visit ! ! ! Again, Tomas, thanks for your patience, kindness and help. I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to anybody in the future.

Please feel free to incorporate this review into any recommendation you might choose to use on your own website as I'm not sure how to do that. I would also appreciate it if you would forward the review to the manager of the Metamorphis. I don't have their direct email address and they really do need to be complemented. I highly recommend your private airport transfers over public transportation; the drivers were gracious, efficient and informative both from and to the airport. I have given your email address to friends in New Jersey who will soon be arranging a trip to Prague with eight people. I have suggested to them that they spend at least six days, as we did. I don't understand how some packaged tours allow only two days to see Prague. It is completely impossible to begin to see the city in that amount of time. We LOVED Prague and plan to return sometime in the next couple of years to see more of Prague as well as visiting other parts of the Czech Republic. I will, of course, contact you when we start making return plans.

  I wish to say how much my friends and I enjoyed our recent visit to Prague (29/5/05 - 3/6/05 and our stay in the Metamorphis Hotel. Our accommodation was superb, facilities and extras couldn't be faulted and the service excellent. The inclusive breakfast was varied, plentiful and well presented. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were extemely pleased with the location of the hotel and the easy access to Old Town Square and the many places to visit from there. Only slight drawback the regularity and noise of the 'rubbish collection' during the night (but we got used to it and it certainly didn't spoil the holiday!). Our transfer arrangements to and from the airport were excellent and meant a stress-free start and end to our holiday. We were delighted with the City of Prague; its beauty, cleanliness, numerous restaurants, shops, friendly people and excellent transport system enabled us to easily access the many places of interest. We would thoroughly recommend others to use your travel service, the excellent hotel which met all of your recommendations and would encourage anyone to visit Prague for a wonderful holiday. Finally the weather during our stay was superb!!!

  We stayed four nights in the Metamorphis Hotel last week. We'd like to say how much we enjoyed our stay. The Metamorphis is perfectly situated, very close to the tourist areas and bars and restaurants, but also in a quiet coutyard. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant superb. We liked everything about the hotel, its history, location, food, room, staff etc. I would recommend that visitors ask for a room with a view over the Ungelt , towards the Cathedral. Also, the hotel is not suitable for the infirm. Even though there is a lift there are still lots of stairs to negotiate, mainly the spiral steps down to breakfast in the restaurant. Your taxi was waiting for us at the airport & picked us up promptly on our return trip. Our son was married at the New Town Hall on the Thursday & it was my birthday the following day, so a very special trip. The hotel management gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely city and hope to visit it again before too long. We will recommend, without hesitation, both Prague and the Metamorphis.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast offerings were varied and delicious, the room was large and spotless, and the location was perfect for us to explore most areas by foot. The availability of free internet was also a pleasant surprise. Your suggestion for a hotel could not have been better. Our flight from London to Prague was one hour late and one of our bags was lost enroute. I was very happy to see our driver waiting when we finally got through customs. He was also on time for our very early morning transfer to the airport.   Just thought you would like to know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Constans and thought that Prague was the most beautiful city that we have ever visited. The taxi arrangements to and from the hotel went very smoothly apart from the slight problem with the driver not being aware that we had a free transfer on the return trip. However it was all sorted very quickly and we were so impressed by the calm and polite way that the driver sorted it out. I am sorry to say that in this country it would not have been handled so professionally. The hotel was everything we had hoped for and we would certainly go back there. The only regret was that we did not make use one of your tours as it would have been useful to have spoken to someone from the Czech Republic early on during our stay to get an idea of the current culture of the country as well as seeing all the sights. We got to see the fireworks from Charles Bridge at midnight on the 1st May which was unexpected treat. We will certainly come back to your beautiful city soon and will book through yourself again.

Our guide Lenka was excellent – her local knowledge seemed unsurpassable and she was able to show us local places to eat and sites to view which kept us away from the huge crowds of tourists. Finally, the taxi transfers all went without a hitch – and were very luxurious Mercedes, which we weren’t expecting! I’d have no hesitation in recommending you to others and will definitely contact you again when we return to Prague (we liked it so much we’ll be coming back for a longer stay next year!)

One of the women at the desk offered to call the train station and ask about schedules, ticketing, and so on. ou don't find that at many places. The breakfast was also wonderful each day. The decor was everything the web site said it would be and very clean.Although i would not recomend it to people who could n t cope with stairs.We will be using this hotel again and will be recommending it to all our friend s and also telling them to go throgh yourself at TravelCook.com.   After 5 very nice days in Prague we are back home again. All of us are very satisfied with everything,but agreed upon that we need to spend more time in Prague at our next visit to see more of this fantastic town.   Hotel Cafe Dvorak is in the perfect loation for those who want beauty, peace and quiet but within 1 mintue walk of the Charles Brdige. This makes it the perfect location for visiting the sites on both sides of the river. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful

  I would just like to drop you a short line to say thank you for helping me to organise my trip to Prague last week. The service offered by your company was first class. Our hotel was perfect, in an ideal location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The taxi was waiting for us as soon as we arrived at Prague airport, and was there on time to take us back to the airport at the end of our trip. Prague is a wonderful city and exceeded my expectations. We will certainly visit it again very soon. So once again, thank you very much.
