The Residence Dominium Prague is situated at Malostranske nam. (Lesser Town Square), right in the heart of Prague´s most romantic district of Mala Strana (Lesser Town). Malostranske nam. is the local point of the Mala Strana area, which is one of the oldest and historically most significant parts of Prague. Thanks to its location half way between Prague Castle (Prazsky Hrad) and Old Town (Stare Mesto) next to the famous Charles Bridge (Karluv Most), the Square is a prominent destination not only for tourists and visitors but also for residents who enjoy the great atmospehere of the pitoresque area, which boasts ancient arcades, traditional czech wine bars, a great variety of restaurants and numerous aristocratic palaces.

Despite its location in the historic centre, Malostranske nam. is easily accessible both by private car and public transport. In fact, several tram lines (No.22,23 and 12) stop at the Square. The nearest underground station (Malostranska) is just a five-minute walk from the Square and only one minute away by tram. Guarded parking is available.

The Residence Dominium Prague is located in Grömling Palace, one of the precious examples of Prague´s late baroque (roccoco) architecture. The first historic notice of the building dates from the year 1404. The present appearance of the this masterpiece is the work of architect Josef Jäger, who redesigned what were originally 5 separate town houses into one single palace. This significant work has been finished in the year 1786. The world famous café Malostranská kavárna located on the ground floor of the palace made this location popular troughout the past century. Grömling palace has been recently totally refurbished and brought up the highest standard while keeping the unique atmosphere of the past. Its location just beneath of the famous St. Nicholas Church makes the Residence Dominium the most prominent address for your stay in Prague.
